TOKYO--()--Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo (KPH), one of Japan’s most prestigious international hotels located in Shinjuku, Tokyo, will hold an exhibition entitled “Sports News Photograph Exhibition 2020 – The Power of Athletes on the World Stage” displaying news photographs that pay tribute to athletes competing in the global sports arena from January 15 (Wednesday) to March 16 (Monday), 2020. This upcoming sixth annual exhibition will display about 40 captivating photographs of athletes in action, and is held in cooperation with The Mainichi Newspapers and The Sports Nippon Newspapers in our Hotel lobby and sponsored by Aioi Nissay Dowa Insurance Co., Ltd. and ITO EN, Ltd.

Japanese athletes and para-athletes competing in sporting events for persons with disabilities that are gaining societal recognition, who are anticipated to become the heroes and heroines of various global sporting events in 2020, will be introduced through photographs displayed at the exhibition.

This annually held sports news photograph exhibition is designed to support athletes competing inside and outside of Japan, and focus attention upon key moments in their sporting activities through captivating photographs. This upcoming exhibition will help to remind guests of the splendor of sports in the year when Japan will host the world’s greatest sporting tournament.
