OncLive® Presents State of the Science Summit™ on Hematologic Malignancies

CRANBURY, N.J.--()--OncLive®, the nation’s leading multimedia resource focused on providing oncology professionals with current and insightful information on patient care, will host its latest State of the Science Summit™ on hematologic malignancies, on Monday, Nov. 4, from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Renaissance Atlanta Midtown Hotel in Atlanta. The chair for the summit will be Sagar Lonial, M.D., FACP, a professor in and the chair of the department of hematology and medical oncology at Winship Cancer Institute at the Emory University School of Medicine.

This interactive and educational meeting will analyze and discuss novel treatments related to hematologic malignancies. The expert presenters will explore a variety of informative topics surrounding hematologic malignancies, such as Hodgkin lymphoma, non-Hodgkin lymphoma, multiple myeloma, chronic lymphocytic leukemia, acute lymphoblastic leukemia and acute myeloid leukemia. They will also engage in a peer exchange and address audience questions.

The presenters for the summit include the following experts from Winship Cancer Institute at the Emory University School of Medicine:

  • Pamela Blair Allen, M.D., M.S., hematologist, assistant professor in the department of hematology and medical oncology.
  • Martha Arellano, M.D., hematologist, director of hematology and medical oncology fellowship program, associate professor in the department of hematology and medical oncology.
  • Jonathon B. Cohen, M.D., M.S., hematologist, medical director of infusion services, co-director of the lymphoma program, associate professor in the department of hematology and medical oncology.
  • Rebecca B. Klisovic, M.D., hematologist, medical director of clinical informatics, associate professor in the department of hematology and medical oncology.
  • Jean L. Koff, M.D., M.S., hematologist, associate professor in the department of hematology and medical oncology.
  • Ajay K. Nooka, M.D., M.P.H., FACP, hematologist, associate professor in the department of hematology and medical oncology.

State of the Science Summit™ is a premier conference series hosted by OncLive® that features medical experts from across the nation discussing treatment options.
