Integreon Executive Vice President Jamie Berry Will Deliver Incisive Presentation about Moving Legal from Cost to Profit Center through Operational Efficiency at SOLID NYC

NEW YORK--()--On Wednesday, September 11th at the Summit on Legal Innovation and Disruption (SOLID) East in New York, Jamie Berry, Executive Vice President – Litigation Services at Integreon, will be delivering a TED-style talk detailing his team’s successfully-executed engagement with a Fortune 100 financial services company’s legal department.

SOLID East will bring together top thought leaders from alternative legal service providers (ALSPs) like Integreon, as well as legal operations experts, technologists and practicing attorneys to discuss compelling topics affecting today’s legal industry. The ambitious agenda weaves together legal technology and operations experts from AIG, Barclays, Bloomberg Law, FedEx Supply Chain, General Electric, MetLife, TIAA, Oracle, Takeda with a stellar echelon of product and services supplier leaders, each taking the stage in rapid succession to deliver a power-packed day.

Entitled “From Deficiency to Efficiency: How one legal department went from cost center to profit center”, Mr. Berry’s SOLID presentation will outline how Integreon solved a complicated, yet fairly common legal operations problem for its client by applying six-sigma processes and its extensive operations expertise. He will address how his team, in close collaboration with its client, developed an immediate solution by re-engineering existing processes instead of requiring its client to make significant investment in new tools and systems. The approach also laid the groundwork for a long-term solution that creates ongoing efficiency and eventually revenue generation for the legal department. In close partnership with its client, this initiative is on track to transform the legal department from cost center, to cost-neutral, and ultimately a continuous profit center.

Based on the breakthrough legal process innovation which Berry describes in his SOLID talk, Integreon recently launched its new Subpoena Processing and Compliance Service (SPC). SPC is a dedicated outsourced team of skilled project managers and attorneys, working with companies to receive and reply to incoming third-party subpoena demands.

“The legal industry is prioritizing innovation, efficiency and disruption more than ever before,” commented Berry. “SOLID East provides the opportunity for me and the other speakers to offer insights regarding how the most complex problems can be solved from many different vantage points. I am honored to share the podium with such a distinguished panel of experts and thought leaders.”
