LOS ANGELES--()--The world-famous Venice Art Walls in Los Angeles welcomed two star guests on Saturday (17th August), as acclaimed street artist Israel “Ezra” Cervantes, widely recognized as one of the art world’s most creative talents, joined forces with ‘telecom revolutionary’ and global entrepreneur, David McCourt, to bring the theme of McCourt’s new best-selling book ‘Total Rethink’ to life.

A popular and influential artist in LA, Ezra has achieved international success and his work outside of large-scale community projects includes commissions from A-list celebrities and Fortune 500 brands.

Ezra commented: “I’m honored to be back at Venice Art Walls and thrilled to be working with David to inspire people with the empowering message that comes from his new book, Total Rethink, which gives a blueprint for how people from all walks of life can think and act more entrepreneurially.”

A global entrepreneur and Emmy award-winning producer, McCourt launched his debut book Total Rethink: Why Entrepreneurs Should Act Like Revolutionaries this Summer and quickly shot into the best-seller charts as the book struck a chord with people who want to re-think their life or business.

McCourt is one of the world’s most successful multi award-winning entrepreneurs in technology, media and telecoms and his work in media has seen him create a TV network, produce hard-hitting documentaries with A-listers including Angelina Jolie, Michael Douglas, Meg Ryan and Sônia Braga, and work alongside Spike Lee, LeVar Burton and Bill Duke.

McCourt added: “The art world is an excellent example of an industry that has needed a ‘Total Rethink’ for a long time, as artists realize they can’t rely on traditional ways to get their big break. Street artists often show a natural flair for thinking entrepreneurially, finding creative solutions to get their work seen by the world.

“Street art also expressively represents urban communities, which will play a key role in the changing world we live in. Nearly seventy percent (68%) of the world’s population is expected to live in urban areas by the year 2050 and some of the best and brightest minds are within these communities which have previously been disadvantaged by traditional systems. If we’re going to drive positive change, we need to harness these talents.”
