Premier Eye Care Makes “Best Companies To Work For” List from Florida Trend Magazine for Seventh Year in a Row

Company is No. 1 in magazine’s 2019 statewide list of best midsized companies to work for

TAMPA, Fla.--()--Florida Trend magazine has named Premier Eye Care as the state’s best midsized company to work for, marking the seventh year in a row Premier has made the magazine’s prestigious list of “Best Companies To Work For.”

Premier ranked No. 1 in Florida Trend’s 2019 ranking of midsized companies with 50 to 249 employees. Companies that participate undergo an evaluation of workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics, along with a confidential survey to measure employee satisfaction.

Tampa-based Premier is a national leader in managed eye care and technology-based solutions, thanks to its dedicated, highly engaged team members. The company is celebrated for its corporate culture, making a commitment to diversity at every level of leadership, paying a living wage, and providing gender pay equity.

Premier has a 2 percent turnover rate, significantly lower than the 22.7 percent industry average, and has been ranked nationally as one of the 75 “Best Places to Work for Millennials” by the Center for Generational Kinetics. Premier has been named to Florida Trend’s “Best Companies To Work For” list every year since 2013.

“Leading a company that places high value on the long-term success of its team members has collateral benefits that translate into success for all stakeholders,” said Premier CEO Lorna Taylor. “Because of low attrition, business partners benefit from a stable team with a deep knowledge of the industry.”

The “Best Companies To Work For” program was created by Florida Trend and Best Companies Group, and is endorsed by the HR Florida State Council. Best Companies Group managed the registration, survey and analysis and determined the final ranking.
