SAN CLEMENTE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Today, The Sheckler Foundation is excited to announce that Stop #5 of their Skate for a Cause Tour will be in Minneapolis, at the 2019 Summer X Games. The Sheckler Foundation has been a huge supporter of the Adaptive Skate community and is elated to see the X Games has added an Adaptive Skateboard Park contest to their lineup. The foundation will present “Be the Change” adaptive skate recipients Wiggle Your Toes with a $10,000 grant and adaptive skate clinic on the X Games Skateboard Park course. This is a dream alignment given Ryan's 16 years of competing in the X Games…He is honored for this opportunity to join forces to “Be the Change!”

At the Sheckler Foundation’s 9th Annual Skate For a Cause presented by Oakley in 2018, the family-friendly event featured the first Wheelchair Motocross (MCMX) and Adaptive Skate contest. Paying respect to all the opportunities X Games has provided Ryan through the years, the Sheckler Foundation and Ryan could not think of a better platform to showcase all that adaptive sports athletes have to offer on a competitive level.
