BASEL, Switzerland--()--Innolith, a leading Swiss battery technology company, today announced the appointment of Stephen Wiley as the company’s new Vice President for US Business Development. A senior management executive with experience in the origination, development and operations of renewable power, Wiley will lead Innolith’s sales and marketing in the United States as the company continues to grow.

Wiley brings over three decades of expertise in various roles within the renewable power industry in the US. Prior to joining Innolith, he worked as the Senior Director for Origination at battery company Younicos in Austin, Texas. There, he was responsible for originating new business, completing commercial negotiations with Panasonic, National Grid and others. Wiley also previously served as Senior Vice President for US Development at BrightSource Energy, where he managed a large team to complete the development of the largest CSP facility in the US.

Wiley obtained a BSc in Petroleum Engineering, before going on to receive a Master of Business Administration-Finance at the University of Texas. His areas of expertise include emerging generation technologies, project development and market strategy.
