goCharge Launches Emergency Preparedness and Response Division

--Division will provide Governments and Organizations with Critical Solution to Maintain Communication and Connectivity During Natural and Human- Caused Disasters

--New Line of Solar-Powered Mobile Device Charging Stations Keep Responders, Evacuees and others Connected to Essential Services and Loved Ones

NEW YORK--()--goCharge (www.gochargenetworks.com), a leading provider of Mobile Device Charging Stations, has announced the launch of its Emergency Preparedness & Response Division (“EPR”). This new initiative will be focused on providing Federal, Regional and Local governments and organizations with Mobile Device Charging Station solutions, critical to maintaining communication and connectivity with Responders, Evacuees and others during emergency situations.

As a key part of the launch of EPR, goCharge is introducing its new Solar-Powered line of Charging Stations-a Kiosk featuring 10 secured lockers, and a Hi-Top Table. Each Station provides multiple charging cords and ports and can operate either completely independent of “the grid”, or directly connected to an electrical receptacle.

David Walke, CEO of goCharge, said, “Whether a natural disaster, a human- caused disaster, or a major utility failure, electricity is often extremely limited, or non-existent. Through EPR, we are able to provide a solution that addresses this critical need; our brand new Solar-Powered Charging Stations.”

goCharge has named Scott Holmquist Director of EPR. Mr. Holmquist has a distinguished 35-year career in Fire and Emergency services, and is currently Managing Partner of Pursuit Consulting, which provides Emergency support, services and counsel for government agencies as well as private companies. Scott has spent his entire career in fire and emergency services, retiring from both as Assistant Deputy Director of Cal Fire (California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection), as well as having represented Pacific Gas & Electric as Public Safety Specialist for natural and human-caused disasters and other events.

Scott will be joined in leading the EPR program by Karyn Greenblatt, VP of Sales at goCharge. “I am very excited to join goCharge in this important initiative”, Mr. Holmquist said. ”Being prepared in natural and human caused disasters is essential. Emergency Management organizations that provide services and support for communities is equally essential. In an effort to keep citizens, evacuees and responders connected to families and loved ones, as well as to be able to access emergency digital and internet communications, mobile device charging stations become vital.”

goCharge is formally introducing its Solar-Powered Charging Stations to the market at the Governors’ Hurricane Conference from May 12-May 17th at the Palm Beach County Convention Center in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Mr. Walke concluded, ”goCharge knows how important this program is to everyone affected by disasters and emergencies, and we are passionate about being of valued service. Indeed, we will be donating a portion of revenues generated by this Division to support the wonderful organizations dedicated to this critical effort.”
