OncLive® Hosts the Latest State of the Science Summit™ on Gastrointestinal Malignancies

CRANBURY, N.J.--()--OncLive®, the nation’s leading digital resource focused on providing oncology professionals with the most current and insightful information they need to provide the best patient care, will host its latest State of the Science Summit™ on Gastrointestinal (GI) Malignancies Thursday, May 9, from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Denver Tech Center in Colorado. The summit will be co-chaired by Dr. Allen L. Cohn, medical oncologist and hematologist at Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers, and Dr. Wells A. Messersmith, professor and head of the division of medical oncology and co-leader of developmental therapeutics at the University of Colorado Cancer Center.

This interactive and educational meeting will discuss novel treatments for patients with GI malignancies. Expert presenters will delve into informative topics facing GI malignancies specialists, oncologists, nurses and other medical professionals, such as metastatic colorectal cancer, gastric/gastroesophageal junction cancer and pancreatic cancer. The presenters will also engage in a peer exchange and address audience questions.

Presenters for the summit include the following experts:

  • Dr. Lindsey Davis, assistant professor of medicine-medical oncology, University of Colorado Cancer Center
  • Dr. Anthony B. El-Khoueiry, associate professor of clinical medicine and CISO chair, University of Southern California Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center
  • Dr. Christopher Lieu, associate professor of medicine-medical oncology, deputy associate director of clinical research and director of the gastrointestinal medical oncology program, University of Colorado Cancer Center
  • Dr. Sujatha Nallapareddy, medical oncologist and hematologist, Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers

State of the Science Summit™ is a premier conference series, hosted by OncLive®, that features medical experts from across the nation discussing treatment options.
