Verrix to Exhibit at International Association of Healthcare Central Service Material Management 2019 Annual Conference

Experts to Discuss the Future of Sterilization Monitoring Using Technology Developed by NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory

--()--Verrix:

WHEN:   Sunday, April 28, 2019, to Wednesday, May 1, 2019

WHAT: Verrix will be exhibiting at the IAHCSMM 2019 Annual Conference & Expo to discuss critical needs in sterilization monitoring and engage with champions in the sterile processing field to explore the future of sterile processing.

WHY: Inadequately sterilized surgical instruments are a major contributor to infection outbreaks. Biological indicator (BI) systems are used to monitor the lethality of sterilization cycles and detect failed cycles, providing greater confidence that surgical instruments are free from contamination. Delays and inaccuracies in the sterilization confirmation process can lead to unwarranted risk and operational disruption. Verrix is taking a new approach to develop solutions that deliver BI results with unprecedented speed and accuracy and eliminate common causes of error.

HIGHLIGHTS:
  • Meet Adrian Ponce, Ph.D., Verrix Founder/Inventor and NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory Scientist, on Monday, April 29, 1–5 p.m. PDT.
  • Interview the Verrix team of scientists and commercial partners working to develop solutions for accurate and rapid sterilization confirmation.
  • Verrix to hold drawing for conference attendees to win one of three $500 education vouchers (valid for use on accredited educational expenses).

WHERE:

Booth #821 at the Anaheim Marriott and Convention Center, 800 West Katella Ave., Anaheim, CA 92802.
