LAYTON, Utah--(BUSINESS WIRE)--LSI, Inc. announced today that Robert Bunnett was appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective immediately. Mr. Bunnett is the founder of Atlas, which provides high-leverage solutions for large complex engineering development pursuits and proposals. He previously founded Accelerate, receiving the General Dynamics Supplier Excellence Award.
Mr. Bunnett was also SM&A SVP Operations, SVP Business Development, and SVP Innovation. His client-facing leadership roles at SM&A included Account Executive, Site Director, Engagement Lead, Capture Mentor, Proposal Manager, and Program Manager. He developed QuickStart following his first client engagement in 1995. QuickStart services quickly doubled SM&A revenue at his client site, followed by doubling SM&A corporate revenue—which then became a billion-dollar new line of business. Earlier at McDonnell Douglas, Mr. Bunnett rose rapidly through management, built on his distinguished systems engineering career.
