Archway Health Bolsters Clinical and Care Process Management with Additions to Leadership Team

Dr. Kemi Okunade and Aimee Bailey, RN, Join Archway to Strengthen Care Operations Across Healthcare Systems

BOSTON--()--Archway Health, an innovator with healthcare organizations and self-insured employers in risk-based payment programs, has hired Dr. Oluwakemi Okunade as Vice President of Clinical Services and Aimee Bailey, RN, as Senior Director of Care Operations.

“Clinical process improvement is key to making value-based payment programs work. We’re finding that this is even more so the case as CMS urges providers toward upside and downside risk programs,” said Dave Terry, Archway’s Co-founder and CEO. “We’re proud to bring Kemi and Aimee on board to strengthen our knowledge and capabilities to continue to help our providers improve their care management.”

Dr. Okunade comes to Archway with clinical experience in a range of hospital and community settings and clinical research focused on value-based care. As Vice President of Clinical Services, she will play a lead role in driving Archway’s clinical process improvement efforts working closely with the company’s specialty providers in the Bundled Payments for Care Improvement (BPCI), BPCI Advanced, Oncology Care Model, and Comprehensive Care for Joint Replacement programs. Prior to joining Archway, Dr. Okunade was a manager at the International Consortium for Health Outcomes Measurement. She received a master’s degree from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and a medical degree from the University of Nottingham Medical School in the United Kingdom.

As Senior Director of Care Operations, Bailey will utilize her nursing background to provide strategic and operational leadership on all aspects of the Archway clinical support program – including evaluating, developing, and educating on care management protocols. She is dedicated to practicing patient-centered care and has a diverse clinical background that spans 10 years across acute, managed, and Accountable Care Organizations. Most recently, Bailey served as the Manager of Care Management at Evolent Health. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northeastern University and is currently studying to receive a Master of Science in Nursing and Health Administration degree.

With Dr. Okunade and Ms. Bailey, Archway will continue to be a leader in developing and implementing value-based care programs by partnering with healthcare providers, health plans, and self-insured employers across the country. Archway works with providers in a variety of clinical areas – including oncology, orthopedics, cardiology, acute care, and post-acute care – all of which are experiencing improvements in clinical process and patient experience while also reducing total costs.

Archway Health is continuing to grow and is actively hiring professionals in the value-based care segment. To support this growth, Archway has moved its headquarters from the athenahealth campus in Watertown to a space more conducive to expansion in downtown Boston at 545 Boylston Street. Archway also has an office in Union Square in New York City.
