PITTSBURGH--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Ohio Players, best known for its popular hits “O-H-I-O,” “Love Rollercoaster” and “Fire,” brings its iconic, contemporary R&B concert to The Event Center at Rivers Casino on Saturday, May 4, at 8 p.m. Tickets are on sale now and start at $25.
Not only has the Ohio Players influenced the funk and soul music scene for many decades, its unmatched horn-driven melodies have earned the group a gold disc for its first hit single, “Funky Worm,” as well as for the chart-topping record “Love Rollercoaster.” In addition to these two accolades, many of its other songs have also reached top spots on the Billboard Hot 100 and R&B charts.
Formerly known as the Ohio Untouchables, the group has over 50 years of experience in the music industry. The band has released 16 studio albums and had multiple No. 1 hits.
