AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--NXTBoard, the Austin-based company that helps boards transform the way they work through the first-of-its-kind board portal that combines both board management and strategic planning features, in collaboration with GivingCityAustin, the guide to doing good in Austin, have launched NXTMission Austin, a city-wide search for the most-deserving nonprofit organization to help transform a board’s operations by enabling them to streamline processes, drive accountability, defeat dysfunction and achieve outcomes. The winner of NXTMission Austin will be awarded a complimentary three-year license of the NXTBoard platform along with a year-long board transformation consulting engagement.
Beginning today, January 24, NXTMission Austin will be accepting applications. Whether you are an Austin-based nonprofit focused on education, the arts, health, human services, etc. all are encouraged to participate in NXTMission Austin. Ideal candidates for NXTMission Austin will have a board that consists of six or more board members, host at least four board meetings annually, have a minimum of two committees, as well as a full-time president or executive director in place with an annual operating budget of at least $100k.
To apply, Austin-based non-profit organizations should submit their applications here. The application phase will conclude in early April and a winner will be selected by the community by May 2019.
