The interdisciplinary educational video activity featured Paul P. Bridgeman, Pharm.D., BCPS, CGP, FASCP, clinical associate professor, department of pharmacy practice and administration, Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at Rutgers University, internal medicine clinical pharmacist, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey; and Alex Y. Bekker, M.D., Ph.D., M.S., professor and chair, department of anesthesia and perioperative care, professor, department of physiology and pharmacology, Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in Newark, New Jersey, as the two panelists who discussed and provided an overview of medical cannabis, identified its therapeutic role, examined its regulation and established the role of health care providers in prescribing medical cannabis.
