Archway Health Bolsters Leadership Team with Industry Veterans

New Hires Position Company to Enhance Offerings to Employers & Providers Participating in Value-Based Payment Programs

WATERTOWN, Mass.--()--Archway Health, an innovator with healthcare organizations and self-insured employers in risk-based payment programs, today announced the addition of three new members of the Archway team to help lead the organization as it broadens and deepens its services and support. Joining the organization are Chris Couch, Chief Operating Officer; Janna Lacatell, Vice President of Commercial Markets; and, Mark Pacala, Member of the Board of Directors.

Archway partners with healthcare providers, health plans and self-insured employers to improve the quality and lower the cost of specialty care, which represents more than 70% of healthcare spending. Using data science, specialty clinical process improvement and an innovative virtual episodic management approach, Archway helps patients who are sick get better and back home and back to work faster and for lower total costs.

With these new team members, Archway will continue to be a leading partner for employers, healthcare providers, and payors helping them design and manage risk-based programs. Couch joins Archway from HMS Eliza, where he was Vice President of Operations. There, he oversaw operational functions including sales engineering and project management, as well as development, testing and network operations. Couch also previously served as Senior Vice President at Health Dialog. He received a BA in Economics from Carleton College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Prior to joining Archway, Lacatell was Vice President of Product at Sharecare (formerly Healthways), delivering care management product portfolios to regional and national health plans, large employers, and public sector markets. She also held the roles of Product Director and Business Development Lead. She received a BA from Bryant University and an MBA from Boston University.

Pacala brings more than 30 years of combined experience in healthcare, operations and private equity. He previously served as the Operating Partner at Pamplona Capital, with a focus on identifying and evaluating new healthcare investment opportunities. Pacala also serves as a Senior Advisor for companies including Inova Health System and Ironpoint Partners. He received a BA from Hamilton College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
