Joining the organization are Chris Couch, Chief Operating Officer; Janna Lacatell, Vice President of Commercial Markets; and, Mark Pacala, Member of the Board of Directors.
Archway partners with healthcare providers, health plans and self-insured employers to improve the quality and lower the cost of specialty care, which represents more than 70% of healthcare spending. Couch joins Archway from HMS Eliza, where he was Vice President of Operations. There, he oversaw operational functions including sales engineering and project management, as well as development, testing and network operations. Couch also previously served as Senior Vice President at Health Dialog. He received a BA in Economics from Carleton College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Prior to joining Archway, Lacatell was Vice President of Product at Sharecare (formerly Healthways), delivering care management product portfolios to regional and national health plans, large employers, and public sector markets. She also held the roles of Product Director and Business Development Lead. She received a BA from Bryant University and an MBA from Boston University.
Pacala brings more than 30 years of combined experience in healthcare, operations and private equity. He previously served as the Operating Partner at Pamplona Capital, with a focus on identifying and evaluating new healthcare investment opportunities. Pacala also serves as a Senior Advisor for companies including Inova Health System and Ironpoint Partners. He received a BA from Hamilton College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
