Data Engines Launches First Ever Ground Truth Inference Service

BOSTON--()--Data Engines Corporation, a developer of error-correcting algorithms for use in artificial intelligence, has deployed a service that offers ground truth inference. GroundSeerTM, available at www.dataengines.com/groundseer in its free version (v 0.1), is a patented technique that enables the monitoring of binary classifiers to detect if they are malfunctioning.

GroundSeer can monitor classifiers in critical industrial settings. Users who do not have access to ground truth can use this tool to know that their artificial intelligence production systems are healthy.

The machine learning technique has many applications, particularly in areas involving autonomous systems. Equipped with GroundSeer technology and, thus, enabled for error detection, self-driving cars, for example, can take corrective actions.

“Our secret sauce is making the crowd wiser by having it measure itself,” says Founder, Andres Corrada-Emmanuel, PhD. “We are focusing now on having GroundSeer technology become a component of self-driving cars and medically-oriented forms of artificial intelligence, such as computer-aided detection.”
