First Ever AHF-LAFD Toy Drive Kicks Off With Firefighters Handing Out Presents To Underprivileged Children

HOLLYWOOD, Calif.--()--Hundreds of children will get toys for Christmas, thanks to the first ever holiday toy drive partnership between the AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) and the Los Angeles City Fire Department (LAFD).

On Saturday December 15th from 10am-12pm, LAFD firefighters will hand out Christmas presents to nearly 50 underprivileged children and teenagers living at AHF’s Sunrise On Sunset emergency housing facility. The gifts (toys, bikes, scooters, gift certificates, etc.) range to make children from age 0-18 smile.

The holiday spirit continues throughout the month of December. The AIDS Healthcare Foundation’s HIV/AIDS patients at two major AHF healthcare centers (Downtown and Hollywood) will have access to hundreds of free toys for their families to pickup before Christmas.
