LAFAYETTE, La.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Home Bank and the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas (FHLB Dallas) will award $12,000 in Partnership Grant Program (PGP) funds to Step Up Acadiana, a nonprofit in Lafayette, Louisiana.
Bank representatives will award the funds at a check presentation at noon Friday, December 7, 2018, at Step Up Acadiana’s offices at 601 Loire Avenue, Street E in Lafayette, Louisiana. The media is encouraged to attend.
Step Up Acadiana, whose mission is to provide homebuyer education and counseling services for pre-purchase and foreclosure prevention clients, will receive $12,000 in PGP funds for counselor and instructor staff training.
The structure of the PGP enables FHLB Dallas member institutions such as Home Bank to make a contribution of $500 to $4,000 to a community-based organization (CBO), which FHLB Dallas will match at a 3:1 ratio.
