As a part of the Rapid Design package, inCAD Components provides the designer with unique features that help expand an engineer’s design capabilities and reduce time required to construct CAD (consumer-aided design) assemblies, accessing MISUMI’s 80 sextillion part configurations. “This new tool is a next-generation 3-D CAD generator that runs alongside SolidWorks allowing users to manipulate MISUMI’s configurable components, research pricing, lead-time, and access technical information, all without leaving SolidWorks,” says Associate Director of Marketing Communications, Michael Larmon. “Approximately 99% of MISUMI components are accessible through inCAD Components thus allowing the user to eliminate the tedious steps of configuring part numbers, downloading CADs, saving files and importing them into SolidWorks.”
