Jazz Networks Announces General Availability of Cybersecurity Platform

NEW YORK--()--Jazz Networks announced the General Availability (GA) of its cybersecurity intelligence platform. Initially unveiled in April 2018 at the RSA conference in San Francisco, the product is available for purchase beginning today. The initial features include User Behavior Analytics (UBA), machine learning-assisted alerts, instant actions, and a dedicated analyst service to monitor and report on findings. The machine learning-powered platform increases visibility and provides behavioral context with UBA. The user-friendly Graphical User Interface (GUI) enables easy access to millions of contextual pieces of data, and the platform enables instant actions to decrease the time to resolution.

“The Jazz Platform was built to increase visibility around insider threats, both malicious and, more commonly, employee negligence,” says Jazz Networks CEO, Hani Mustafa. “We approach this by simplifying two things: understanding the complexities of unpredictable human behavior, and challenges associated with navigating enormous amounts of data.”

Since entering the Proof of Concept (PoC) phase in June, Jazz Networks has worked with a more than a dozen partners and customers to deploy and test the technology. From these engagements, participants noted value around the visibility and actionable context that was provided in a new way.

"We went through an extensive security audit and we were looking for vendors who could help us look at our network using a different lens,” says Kurt Meyers, Director of IT at International Union of Painters and Allied Trades (IUPAT). “Jazz provides a deep level of visibility around employee behavior that would have previously required a considerable amount of manual work. The data is organized in such a way that we can follow logical paths and come to conclusions much faster than ever before.”

Jazz Networks has currently on boarded eight partners to extend the product’s reach and offer additional layers of expertise, the first of which being Identity and Access Management consultancy, Hub City Media.

“Hub City Media has been in the security business for 20 years, and this is the first time we’ve seen a product that both analyzes and enables action on intruders in the way Jazz Networks does,” says Philippe Monrougie, Hub City Media CEO. “Partnering with Jazz Networks positions us to lift the burden of system analysis and remediation off of clients using our Security Operations Center. The platform enables us to collect and analyze data using smart search and machine learning, drastically reducing false positives and giving real insight into the security impact of any event.”
