Pathway Healthcare Opens Nashville, TN Addiction Treatment Center

NASHVILLE, Tenn.--()--Pathway Healthcare (www.pathwayhealthcare.com), a leading provider of office-based medical and behavioral treatment for drug and alcohol addiction and dependency, has opened a new Pathway Healthcare office in Springfield, TN located at 810 Hill Street. Pathway Healthcare specializes in treating opioid use disorder, alcohol dependency, and other drug use disorders through a proprietary care model, known as MAT Plus®, which combines medication assisted treatment with behavioral counseling.

Dr. Robert Shearer is the Medical Director for the Nashville office. A board-certified addiction medicine specialist, Dr. Shearer also practices obstetrics and gynecology and is on the Tennessee Buprenorphine Treatment and Guidelines Committee. He has been treating addiction in the Nashville, TN area for the last four years and has practiced medicine in the state for almost 40 years.
