Sanjay Gupta, MD to Deliver Keynote Address at Press Ganey’s 2018 National Client Conference

BOSTON--()--Press Ganey today announced that Dr. Sanjay Gupta, multiple Emmy® award winning chief medical correspondent for CNN and renowned neurosurgeon, will deliver the keynote address at its 2018 National Client Conference, November 12-14 in Orlando, Florida. The annual three-day event draws more than 3,000 health care professionals from across the continuum of care to share best practices, network with peers and discuss strategies to improve the overall safety, quality and experience of care.

Dr. Gupta’s medical training and public health policy experience has distinguished his ability to deliver reporting insights on a range of health care’s most pressing topics, including the recent Ebola outbreak, brain injury, health care reform, and care delivery. In addition to his work for CNN, Dr. Gupta is a member of the staff and faculty at the Emory University School of Medicine. He is associate chief of neurosurgery at Grady Memorial Hospital and regularly performs surgery at Emory University and Grady hospitals.

Dr. Gupta has authored three New York Times best-selling books, Chasing Life (2007), Cheating Death (2009) and Monday Mornings (2012). He contributes to the CBS newsmagazine 60 minutes and has been named a “pop culture icon” by USA Today. Dr. Gupta has been acknowledged with awards and honors from organizations around the country, including the American Medical Association, Forbes magazine, Atlanta Press Club, National Press Photographers Association, John F. Kennedy University and National Association for Multi-ethnicity in Communications (NAMIC). In addition to his Emmy® awards, Dr. Gupta’s contributions at CNN have been recognized with two Peabody Awards and the Alfred I. duPont-Columbia Award.
