PPD Expands Central Labs’ Preclarus® Technology, Helping Clients Accelerate and Enhance Clinical Research Decision-Making

WILMINGTON, N.C.--()--Pharmaceutical Product Development, LLC (PPD) has expanded its central lab technology capabilities integrated with Preclarus®, the comprehensive data solution that consolidates and standardizes multisource data to give clients transparent, real-time access to clinical trial operations, as well as patient and lab data. Features include a new client portal, functionality improvements for the Preclarus investigator site portal and a new companion mobile app for the investigator portal.

The features of the new client portal include visibility to real-time, studywide data and specimen information; a customizable dashboard for displaying key study metrics and tracking progress; complete sample history and chain-of-custody reports; and a variety of related tools, reports and capabilities.

The Preclarus investigator site portal enhancements include a variety of new functionalities for logistics support and chain of custody, sample storage, informed consent and reporting.

The new companion mobile app for the investigator site portal provides connectivity with iOS and Android devices that can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play, respectively; full integration of data with the web-based version in real time; and secure access to alert review and query resolution, subject registration and additional functionalities.
