CINCINNATI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aerpio Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (OTCQB:ARPO) (“Aerpio”) today announced that it intends to sell, subject to market and other conditions, $40 million of its common stock in an underwritten public offering. Aerpio also intends to grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase an additional fifteen percent (15%) of the shares of its common stock offered in the public offering. Aerpio also announced that its common stock has been approved for listing on the Nasdaq Capital Market, subject to the pricing of the public offering on the terms proposed.
Guggenheim Securities is acting as book-running manager for the offering. Needham & Company is acting as lead manager, and National Securities Corporation and H.C. Wainwright & Co. are acting as co-managers for the offering.
Aerpio intends to use the net proceeds from the offering for working capital and general corporate and administrative purposes.
