LINCOLN, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Next week, Illinois American Water will begin replacing and installing over 1,800-feet of water main to upgrade Lincoln’s water distribution system. - Adam street from 15th to 13th street
- Limit Street and Broadway intersection
Gabe Bowden, operations superintendent for the Lincoln District, said, “We invest annually to ensure water quality and service continues to be as good as or better than local, state and federal quality standards. This project will benefit all of our customers by helping to reduce water main breaks and related traffic and service impact.”
The entire project, including restoration, should be completed this fall. Customers directly affected by the work will be notified via letter about the impact and any necessary steps.
