DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--SendGrid, Inc. (NYSE: SEND), a leading digital communications platform that drives engagement and growth, today announced that it was ranked among the top 5 small and midsize companies on Comparably's 2018 Workplace Awards lists for Best CEOs for Women, Best CEOs for Diversity and Best Leadership Team. SendGrid also placed in the top 25 among small and midsize companies for Best Managers and Best Professional Development, according to employees.
“We are humbled and honored to be celebrated for our dedication and efforts in making SendGrid a great place to work for all,” said Pattie Money, Chief People Officer at SendGrid. “We can, without question, attribute these accolades to our entire organization’s commitment to creating an environment where Gridders are enabled to do their best work and bring their whole selves to SendGrid every day.”
The Comparably Workplace Award winners are determined by sentiment ratings that are anonymously submitted by employees on Comparably.com, between May 23, 2017 and May 23, 2018. In 2017, SendGrid’s employee ratings revealed top scores in several of Comparably’s workplace categories.
"Comparably takes a data driven approach to show how specific demographics of employees rate their leadership and companies to make workplaces more transparent and rewarding," said Jason Nazar, Comparably CEO. "Our awards recognize outstanding leaders who are stellar at what they do in business while creating inclusive workplace cultures that deliver results. SendGrid and its leadership are consistently ranked high on all of our lists which is a testament to who they are as an organization, and one that others should emulate.”
Earlier this year, Great Place to Work® and Fortune named SendGrid number 2 of the Best Small and Medium Workplaces in Technology and SendGrid was named a top 1,000 company for millennial women by Mogul, a platform for women that enables them to share their voice, exchange information, and access knowledge.
