Four onsite auctions will be held in June at “Donnieland” in Terre Haute, Indiana, where the collection is stored. The live auctions will feature an online webcast, allowing bidders anywhere to bid on the items.
The exciting sale of Mr. Smith’s vast collection of over 170 race cars, antique, muscle and passenger cars will be held Saturday, June 23 at 10:00 am EDT. Indy 500 Pace Cars, Corvettes, Camaros, Model T’s, Indy Cars, Sprint & Midget Cars and many more will be sold. Rare cars including the 1966 Gurney Eagle Indy Car, 1950’s Pancho Carter Midget, 1961 A.J. Foyt Indy 500 Replica, 1950’s Bobby Grim Bardahl Special Sprint Car, 1931 Pierce Arrow Coupe and 1966 Pontiac GTO Convertible are part of this prestigious collection.
Three other live auctions will be held to sell over 250 firearms, animal mounts and hunting and fishing items on Saturday, June 16. Antiques, Coca-Cola collectibles, furniture, vintage advertising signs and more will be auctioned Sunday, June 17. The final live sale will be held Sunday, June 24 featuring a fantastic collection of vintage gas station signs and pumps, reproduction stagecoach, antique slot machines and arcade games and much more.
