Advanced Space Wins $250,000 Innovation Award from Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade

Boulder, CO space company is developing a peer-to-peer navigation system for NASA’s return to the Moon

BOULDER, Colo.--()--Advanced Space LLC., a Boulder, CO company that designs software and provides specialized services for NASA, the U.S. Air Force, and commercial operators, announced today that it was selected from among 113 companies to receive a $250,000 Advanced Industries Accelerator Grant from the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (COEDIT).

This grant, announced in May, was created by COEDIT to “fund companies commercializing innovative technologies to create viable products that meet a market need and can be created or manufactured in Colorado and exported globally.” Applications were reviewed by select committees of business, technical and financial experts.

This matching grant will complement a recently signed contract with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) for Advanced Space to continue the development of a peer-to-peer navigation system for the Moon.
