Maestro Health CEO Selected to Speak at Inaugural HLTH Conference

Butler joins expert panel to discuss how employers can maximize the health of their employees, minimize their health spend and change the healthcare game

CHICAGO--()--Maestro Health™, a leading all-in employee health and benefits company, today announced that its CEO, Rob Butler, will be joining a panel of experts for the session, “Employers: Owning the Employee Experience,” at the inaugural HLTH conference, a leading event for innovation in healthcare.

“As employees bear a growing portion of health benefit costs, employers are increasingly challenged to find solutions that can personalize their benefits experience and reduce their health spend with intelligent decision tools and resources,” said Butler. “The U.S. healthcare market is at its tipping point as cost, complexity and consumer engagement come to the forefront, and employers are finding themselves in the eye of the storm. Fortunately they are uniquely positioned to change the game for their workforce with the right personalized education and support. I look forward to discussing these challenges in this panel session and sharing what we’ve learned in our pursuit to help employers succeed in the new benefits landscape through more creative, innovative and user-friendly experiences.”

HLTH’s first-annual, large-scale industry event brings together the nation's top health leaders to create much-needed dialogue focused on the disruptive innovation across the healthcare ecosystem. Butler’s participation on the panel follows on the heels of Maestro Health’s launch of an innovative health plan management approach to their (me)SELF-FUNDED BENEFITS™ product. The new approach solves for the most prevalent issues in employer-sponsored healthcare. By redefining the traditional self-funded benefits model, the new solution puts employers back in control with the opportunity to decrease costs by an average of 20-30 percent in their first year while reducing complexity and making the experience people-friendly. Earlier in 2018, the company took a major step forward in its strategy to make health and benefits people-friendly again by joining forces with AXA Group. Through the deal, Maestro Health is defining what a new U.S. healthcare market looks like by simplifying and personalizing how people shop, enroll and live with their health benefits.

Moderated by Oak HC/FT Co-Founder and Managing Director Andrew Adams, Butler will be joined on the panel by Castlight Health CEO John Doyle, Limeade CEO Henry Albrecht and Co-Founder and CEO of Grand Rounds Owen Tripp. Maestro Health will also be teaming up with Ink Factory artists to graphically record the conference sessions and bring them to life through visual note-taking, which will be projected on panels around the show. Attendees can visit the Maestro Health booth #307 to download all the session notes.

With its extensive health plan, benefits administration, and benefit accounts experience, Maestro Health has become known across the industry as ‘the most experienced startup.’ Founded in 2013, the company has worked with leading employers of all sizes, in addition to brokers and insurance carriers. Through its all-in, technology-meets-service platform maestroEDGE™, the company supports the entire continuum of care to treat the whole member and empower consumers to live healthier and better lives.
