FAIRWAY, Kan.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--BioKansas is hosting the 2018 Kansas BioGENEius Challenge Finals this Thursday, April 26th, at Aratana Therapeutics, 11400 Tomahawk Creek Parkway, Leawood, Kansas, 66211. BioKansas has selected the best and brightest students from the Kansas State Science & Engineering Fair and the Greater Kansas City Science & Engineering Fair for the chance to compete in the International BioGENEius Challenge, held on June 4th – 7th in Boston, during the 2018 BIO International Convention.
Six student finalists from across the region will give their presentations this Thursday, where a panel of local industry judges will select one student to advance to the International BioGENEius Challenge. There they will have the opportunity to compete against student researchers from across the world and be recognized by industry for outstanding research in biotechnology. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend the Kansas BioGENEius Finals and see the student finalists showcase their research.
