PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Campus Apartments, one of the nation’s largest providers of on- and off-campus student housing, today announced it has received top honors at Student Housing Business’ Interface Conference. The firm was recognized with an Innovator Award in the category of “Best New Development, Greater than 400 Beds” for 114 Earle, an off-campus student housing community serving Clemson University. The annual Student Housing Business Innovator Awards honor excellence in development, architecture, sustainable design, financing, and amenities in student housing properties. More than 100 student housing and collegiate experts evaluated this year’s entries.
114 Earle was selected for its exceptional design, best-in-market amenities, leasing performance, and vibrant downtown location, fitting the needs of students and the community. Located in the heart of Clemson’s retail and nightlife corridor, the property offers fully furnished studio through five-bedroom units. Shared amenities include an expansive two-story clubhouse, resort-style pool with jumbo TV, state-of-the-art fitness center, spacious cyber lounge, fire pits, golf simulator, and various study spaces. Demand to live in 114 Earle was so significant that within two months of opening, the community was already 100 percent preleased for the following Fall semester with a wait list of over 140 students – all accomplished without offering any concessions.
“We are proud of 114 Earle and honored to accept this accolade from the student housing industry’s foremost experts,” said Daniel Bernstein, Campus Apartments’ President and Chief Investment Officer. “114 Earle provides Clemson students with a comfortable communal space in which they can get the most out of their college experience – a place to live, learn, socialize, and even exercise, all just a short walk from class. In addition, 114 Earle’s location in the heart of downtown Clemson has helped to energize the greater Clemson community.”
114 Earle is one of the latest investments of the Campus-Clarion Student Housing Partners, LP, fund. The fund targets investments in university-related real estate through acquisition and development, both on- and off-campus, throughout the U.S. The project was completed in partnership with Collegiate Development Group.
