ST. PAUL, Minn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Gander Outdoors is hosting an official flag raising ceremony at 66 Mall Parkway, Muncy, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, April 14th at 9:00 A.M. A 40x80’ American flag, which covers 3,200 square feet, will fly on a 130’ pole, and the flag will be raised for the first time with staff, community members and customers commemorating the experience.
“It has been our vision to continue the tradition of raising these flags at our properties across the country, to show our support and appreciation to our country and to those that have sacrificed so much to keep our communities safe,” stated Marcus Lemonis, Chairman of Camping World Holdings. “We love having the opportunity to bring together local communities to celebrate our great country and the brave men and women who have fought for us and will continue raising these flags in other markets in the coming months.”
Guests can watch as the VFW chapter from Turbotville, and the Marine Corps League Detachment 388, raise the flag for the first time at 9:00 A.M. In addition, visitors are welcomed to stop into the store for complimentary coffee and pastries, while supplies last.
After the flag raising, stay for our Limit Out Event where we will kick off the fishing season. Customers will enjoy giveaways and savings on top fishing brands and from 11-1 P.M., customers are welcomed to enjoy free hot dogs and chips provided by Boy Scout Troop #25.
