LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Stephanie Miller, host of The Stephanie Miller Show, announces her weekly podcast, Happy Hour, will be offered free beginning Friday, April 13th. Previously offered exclusively as a paid subscription, Stephanie Miller’s Happy Hour will be available for dedicated fans across the country to listen to on iTunes, Stitcher, Sound Cloud and Spotify, with no subscription necessary.
“We wanted our diverse, loyal, and growing fan base to be able to enjoy our uncensored, FCC-free podcast free of charge,” said Miller. “We know our current subscribers love us, but now everyone will have the chance to see what Happy Hour is all about!”
The first free episode of Happy Hour will feature Emmy Award-winning director, producer and activist, Rob Reiner. Past guests include Lily Tomlin, Margaret Cho, Martin Sheen, Emilio Estevez, Moby, Gloria Allred, and Marc Maron. Happy Hour discussions range from politics and current events to pop culture and entertainment.
Miller is one of the strongest progressive political media voices in the country, and Happy Hour is a once-a-week, uncensored show of original content featuring one-on-one interviews with entertainment celebrities and political figures. The concept of Happy Hour was suggested by her executive producer, Travis Bone, who thought listeners might like to hear Miller and guests in a format that is entirely unregulated by the FCC. Due to the overwhelming success of the Happy Hour podcast, including two chart-topping comedy albums, Best of Stephanie Miller’s Happy Hour Volume I and II, Miller agreed the weekly podcast deserved to be made available to everyone.
