SUWANEE, Ga.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Meggitt Training Systems, the leading provider of integrated live-fire and virtual weapons training products and services, will sponsor the Atlanta Police Foundation’s “A Night in Blue 2018” fundraising event.
The April 12 event at the Fox Theatre is designed to be an immersive experience that emphasizes how realistic training prepares the Atlanta Police Department for today’s law enforcement challenges. Meggitt Training Systems will highlight and demonstrate its new FATS® 100P portable virtual system, along with a selection of wireless BlueFire® weapons that accurately simulate real-life form, fit and function. The FATS 100P is a derivative of the range-topping FATS 100LE, which was purchased by the Atlanta Police Foundation in 2016 for their training and simulation center.

Portable and light, the FATS 100P comes in two rugged hand-carry cases the size of a large range bag that allows easy transportation, set-up and operation by one person. Up to six weapon simulators, including wireless BlueFire® ones, can be run simultaneously.
