LAS VEGAS & FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif.--()--Kingston Digital, Inc., the Flash memory affiliate of Kingston Technology Company, Inc., a world leader in memory products and technology solutions, today announced demonstrations of its high density, high performance PCIe NVMe SSDs and industry-leading server memory. The company will showcase its data performance solutions as well as displays of its encrypted line of USB Flash drives at the NAB Show (booth #C146) in Las Vegas, Nevada, April 9-12, 2018, the world’s largest annual conference and expo encompassing the convergence of media, entertainment and technology.

At NAB, Kingston will showcase its media and entertainment (M&E) solutions with demonstrations highlighting the extreme performance capabilities of DCP1000 and forthcoming DCU1000 U.2 PCIe NVMe SSDs which eliminate many data bottlenecks that are storage-bound. Demand from digital media streaming services means high dynamic range (HDR), 4K and 8K film and television workflows are becoming the new industry standard. With four times the data rate of HD, Kingston’s PCIe NVMe solutions provide the end-to-end data acceleration required for modern media workflows. Kingston’s suite of data performance solutions are already enabling the future of digital media and entertainment as they are currently deployed in some of the industry’s most demanding production environments.

“We look forward to being a part of NAB as it gives us an opportunity to show today’s technology pioneers how Kingston products deliver performance that surpasses the boundaries of content creation,” said Ariel Perez, SSD business manager, Kingston. “We want visitors to fully understand Kingston’s commitment to offering the most powerful solutions for consistent, high-performance data speeds that meet often unpredictable demand – from independent workstations to the most taxing virtualized production environments.”

From creation to consumption, NAB is the ultimate showcase for methods that go beyond traditional broadcasting to embrace content delivery to new screens in new ways. In front of global visionaries, Kingston will demonstrate solutions that enable broadcasters to strengthen their businesses and seize new opportunities in the digital age. These include:

  • Professional Video Workstation: 4K, 8K and HDR uncompressed playback in Adobe Premiere and Marquise Technologies ICE software running on a BOXX workstation.
  • Wall of Video: 500 individual, high-resolution videos running from a single DCP1000 PCIe NVMe SSD. Videos displayed on a customized 42U rack with attached LCD screens for playback. Visitors can easily walk around the wall for a 360 look at the streaming performance breakthrough.
