Elior Names Joseph Vaughn as Vice President of Operations for Valley Services: Industry Veteran to Lead Business Dining, Education and Healthcare

CHARLOTTE, N.C.--()--Elior North America, a leading culinary management company, has named Joseph Vaughn Vice President of Operations for its Valley Services division. Vaughn will officially join the company on April 2.

In his new role, Vaughn will manage over 100 of Valley’s healthcare, business dining and education accounts which include colleges and academies.

Vaughn has been the Director of Food Services for the LA Unified School District since 2016, managing its $397 million food service budget, serving 398 million meals annually in 1100 schools. During that time, he oversaw a $36-million turnaround in just one year.

Before being recruited to the LA Unified School District, Vaughn was the Executive Director for Food and Nutrition Services for the Cleveland Metropolitan School District, with oversight of a department serving nine million meals in 102 schools.
