SEOUL, South Korea--(BUSINESS WIRE)--MEGAZONE Corporation (Chief Strategy Officer: Max Lee), an AWS Premier Consulting partner and a cloud-specialized IT company, today announced that it was approved as AWS Financial Services Competency partner, for the first time in the Korean cloud MSP market.
Megazone was the first one, among Korean cloud Managed Service Providers, to capture 110 billion KRW (approx. 110 million USD) in revenue last year, and proved its industry-specific expertise and AWS system operational excellence by acquiring AWS Marketing & Commerce competency and AWS Migration competency, followed by AWS Financial Services competency for the first time in Korea.
Financial Services competency is only given to the partners with a number of best practices for implementing the solution utilizing AWS architecture-related best practices while proving its capability in the finance sector industry expertise. In other words, this is allowed to those with comprehensive expertise in AWS, technical organization and success stories related to financial services, and who have passed the exhaustive audit process by AWS.
In the meantime, Megazone is the first and only global cloud MSP to have achieved ISMS (Information Security Management Service) certification on February 22, and proved its competitiveness in the finance sector by acquiring this competency.
