ContactRelief Partners with Bluefire Studios to Enhance Disaster Data

Power outage information to be added to Disaster Decision Engine data set

RICHMOND, Texas--()--ContactRelief, provider of the Disaster Decision Engine, 2018’s most innovative customer care product, has signed a partnership agreement with Bluefire Studios, LLC, an aggregator of real-time power outage information. Under the agreement, ContactRelief will include Bluefire’s PowerOutage.US data as one of the information sources it monitors to create real-time disaster decision recommendations. ContactRelief aggregates and analyzes data from multiple sources to deliver real-time disaster information to help shape contact center engagement strategies during times of natural or man-made disaster.

“The goal of the Disaster Decision Engine is to offer the most accurate disaster information possible during times of challenging natural and man-made events,” said ContactRelief CEO Mike Chandler. “Adding power outage information to detailed weather data received from services like the National Weather Service and NOAA will ensure we have the most comprehensive information available to assist contact center operators in making decisions about suspending or resuming contact with customers during disasters.”
