Prince’s Paisley Park Announces Plans for “Prince4Ever” Tribute Fence at Paisley Park and Target Center

Additional Special Guests Announced for Celebration 2018

CHANHASSEN, Minn.--()--Prince’s Paisley Park in Chanhassen, Minnesota has announced that it will again construct a special Prince4Ever tribute fence within the interior grounds of the property to be set-up during the month of April. The fence will display many of the fan-donated memorial messages and artifacts that have been archived by Paisley Park in the two years since Prince’s passing. As an extension of the fence at Paisley Park, fans attending the Prince: Live On The Big Screen concert event at Target Center on April 21, 2018 will also have the opportunity to place memorial messages on a specially erected fence within Target Center. All of the messages left by fans will be archived and preserved by Paisley Park, adding to the massive collection of thoughtful tributes collected to date.

Paisley Park has also announced additional programming details for CELEBRATION 2018, adding ten guest speakers to the already expansive list, including The Revolution members Bobby Z, Dez Dickerson and Matt Fink, former manager and Paisley Park head Gilbert Davison, musician Gayle Chapman, musician and dancer Wally Safford, arranger Brent Fischer, photographers Allen Beaulieu and Terry Gydesen and dancer Tomasina Tate.

Honoring the unique life and legacy of the prodigiously talented cultural icon, the second annual CELEBRATION event is taking place between April 19-22 at Prince’s historic home and recording sanctuary just outside Minneapolis. Musical guests set to perform at Paisley Park during CELEBRATION 2018 include internationally acclaimed artist and long-time Prince collaborator and friend Sheila E; fDeluxe, formerly known as The Family, which features past bandmates and friends Susannah Melvoin, Eric Leeds, Jellybean Johnson and St. Paul Peterson; and a new super-group of Paisley Park and New Power Generation musical alumni, who will make their collective debut at CELEBRATION 2018. New this year is the aforementioned exclusive off-site concert event PRINCE: Live on the Big Screen, to be held Saturday April 21 at 8PM at Target Center in Minneapolis. This event is included in the CELEBRATION 2018 ticket. The concert will feature newly remastered and never-before-released audio and video of Prince accompanied live on the Target Center stage by an all-star ensemble of musicians who performed alongside him throughout his storied career. The live Target Center experience will showcase Prince in his own inimitable sound and style, highlighting the incendiary energy he brought to each performance.

CELEBRATION 2018 is poised to connect with even more of the passionate and global Prince fan community.
