The new solution has helped ASRC increase employee productivity while avoiding additional costs associated with the old human resource information system (HRIS).
Based in Barrow, Alaska, ASRC is an Alaskan Native Corporation with the company’s main shareholders residing in eight villages of the Alaska North Slope region. Currently operating six lines of business including, resource development, petroleum refining and marketing, government services, construction, industrial services and energy support services, the company’s portfolio of services continues to grow. ASRC has seven different business groups holding multiple companies and a complex mixture of salaried and hourly workers with varying benefits.
The corporation needed a solution that would allow them to streamline processes across its entire workforce and throughout the various companies amidst increasingly complex growth. Ahead of a new batch of employee onboarding, ASRC turned to Benefitfocus based on its strong benefits from the electronic enrollment option and its capability to manage administrative positions.
