PatientPop Launches Inaugural Online Reputation Management Survey for Healthcare Providers

Survey highlights healthcare practice opinions and challenges regarding patient feedback, reviews, and reputation management tactics

SANTA MONICA, Calif.--()--PatientPop, the leader in practice growth technology for healthcare providers, is conducting its first nationwide survey of medical and dental professionals who have online reputation management responsibilities within a healthcare practice. Findings from the PatientPop survey will shed light on the healthcare community’s evolving challenges, practices, and opportunities surrounding reputation management, which includes oversight of patient feedback, online reviews, and practice website testimonials.

The front door of the healthcare practice has moved online, and it can be found on Google, Yahoo, and Bing search results. Today, the reviews that appear on these search engines and other review sites have a direct impact on patient choice of a healthcare provider.

“About three out of every four people begin their search for a healthcare provider online,” says Joel Headley, PatientPop director of local SEO and marketing. “The online reputation of a doctor now directly impacts a practice’s business. This survey will uncover the obstacles and opportunities practices face in cultivating a good online reputation to attract and retain patients.”

The survey is open to physicians, dentists, practice managers, office managers, and other professionals who have reputation management responsibilities within a healthcare practice. These professionals can take the survey at http://go.patientpop.com/2018reputationsurvey.

The survey takes approximately five minutes to complete, and all answers remain anonymous and analyzed in aggregate. For each qualified* participant, PatientPop will make a charitable donation of $50 to Doctors Without Borders, a non-profit organization that helps treat people worldwide where the need is greatest, delivering emergency medical aid to people affected by conflict, epidemics, disasters, or exclusion from healthcare.

A report of the key findings from the survey will be issued by PatientPop in Spring 2018 featuring insights and recommendations from healthcare providers related to reputation management.
