PARKLAND, Fla.--()--While the primary means of making a donation to provide relief and financial support for the victims and families of the horrific shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School remains https://www.gofundme.com/stonemandouglasvictimsfund, contributions can now be made through a mobile giving text-to-donate campaign and through direct donations to Broward Education Foundation, the 501(c)3 that solely supports Broward County Public Schools.

In addition to https://www.gofundme.com/stonemandouglasvictimsfund, those who want to help can text-to-donate to 20222 with the message PARKLAND in all caps which will forward $10 to the Stoneman Douglas Fund. Facilitated through Bank of America, the donation will appear on the contributor’s wireless bill.

Corporate or personal check donations designated in the memo line for the “Stoneman Douglas Fund” also can be sent directly to Broward Education Foundation, 600 SE 3rd Ave, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301.

“The immediate need is great and the future needs will be even greater. The mobile giving campaign and direct donations to Broward Education Foundation are additional ways for the public to show their support for the Stoneman Douglas High School victims and families,” said Christina Fischer, board chair of Broward Education Foundation. “We greatly appreciate the outpouring of support that has come through our GoFundMe page and that will come through our text campaign and in the mail as we deal with this unimaginable tragedy.”
