TrueBlue Receives Seattle Business Magazine’s Excellence in Governance Award

TACOMA, Wash.--()--TrueBlue, Inc. (NYSE:TBI) announced today its board of directors received the Governance Award last night from Seattle Business Magazine at the publication’s annual Executive Excellence Awards Program.

The judges cited TrueBlue’s policies for shareholder rights, equity compensation and oversight in choosing to honor the company. TrueBlue’s board also stands out for having three of its eight seats held by women and three by persons of color. The Board also received a top ISS Quality Score in governance from Institutional Shareholder Services.

“Having a board that is inclusive and represents different perspectives has a positive impact on our governance style, including administrative practices, HR management and long-term planning, as well as our ability to successfully innovate,” TrueBlue CEO Steve Cooper said.
