NARA, Japan--()--Umemori Honten (221 Hokkeji-cho, Nara City; Representative Director: Yasuyuki Umemori), a company operating a sushi manufacturer and distributor in Nara, is delighted to announce the opening on December 9 of our restaurant and website providing a Japanese food experience with the concept of “Japanese food entertainment premium.”

Background of opening “OISHII-ICHIBAN-JAPAN”
(1) Concept of opening the site
“Create society where people cherish each other; Food as starting point for world peace to make everybody happy regardless of nationality, race, religion, disability, and disease”
That is, to connect people all over the world with inspiring experiences and smiles through the business of “food.”
This means that all people become united and attain happiness as “humans on Earth.” In Japan, there is a saying “harmony is valuable” by Prince Shotoku, a legendary politician in the seventh century. We Japanese must communicate Japan’s spirit of “harmony” and “gratitude.” We will aim to make this website a place for disseminating altruism.

(2) Our track record in inbound business at Umemori Honten
Umemori Honten has provided a total of 200,000 inbound tourists with hands-on sushi classes. (Recipient of Kinki Regional Agricultural Administration Office President award, special award by Hanayaka KANSAI Miryoku Up Forum, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry)

The concept is to create a harmony of smiles and offer a premium Japanese food experience.
