Kay presented American Humane with a $200,000 donation as part of the event.
The $200,000 donation from Kay will support promoting the use of, advocating for, and getting more pets into children’s classrooms. Extensive research has shown that incorporating pets into the classroom teaches life lessons of empathy and responsibility, shaping students’ lives for years to come.
Attendees at today’s event were able to enter a special in-store sweepstakes for a chance to win prizes including select pieces from the new “Love is a Four-Legged Word” collection, which was introduced to help celebrate and support the partnership with American Humane. The collection includes an assortment of necklaces, bracelets, rings and earrings featuring everything from paw prints and proud dog mom necklaces to adorable kitten designs.
