LOS ANGELES--()--SweeTARTS, the candy-obsessed brand that believes in making the world anything but bland, is celebrating the passion of acapella with the SweeTARTS Acapellooza Concert on October 10 at the University of Southern California’s Bovard Auditorium featuring performances by collegiate acapella groups including The University of Southern California’s Reverse Osmosis and SoCal Vocals, hosted by Brittany Snow. Distinctly known for her passion for acapella, Brittany Snow joins SweeTARTS as the host of the acapella concert. Starting today, SweeTARTS is inviting collegiate acapella groups nationwide, to participate in the Acapellooza Contest for a chance to win a trip to Los Angeles and perform onstage, adding their distinct sound and celebrating their passionate obsession.

"As someone who is fortunate enough to make my passion for music and entertainment my profession, I am honored to partner with SweeTARTS to share the love of singing and acapella with those who enjoy it as much as I do,” said Brittany Snow.

To kick off the SweeTARTS Acapellooza Contest, USC’s Reverse Osmosis and SoCal Vocals invited schools from across the nation to participate, via this SweeTARTS riff-off. To participate, collegiate acapella teams (between 4–8 members) across the nation must create an original 20-30 second riff-off video, performing an original song while incorporating SweeTARTS Chewy Sours. To submit, collegiate acapella groups must publish their videos to Twitter or Instagram using #SWTAcapelloozaContest no later than September 24th. On September 26, SweeTARTS will publish the top finalists’ video entries on SweeTARTSAcapellooza.com where fans are encouraged to vote for their favorite performance. SweeTARTS will proudly announce the winner on October 4. To enter, no purchase is necessary and to find the Official Rules with all eligibility and other contest details, visit SweeTARTSacapellooza.com.

Through its rise in popularity via movies and television, acapella has illuminated diverse talent and passionate fans from around the country,” said SweeTARTS Brand Manager, Meghan Erickson. “We’re excited to honor this passion and the true spirit behind our Follow Your TART mantra with the one-night concert event alongside Brittany Snow, and continue celebrating those who always tap to their own rhythm.”

The SweeTARTS Acapellooza Concert is free and open to the public. Tickets can be reserved at SweeTARTSAcapellooza.com on September 26 through the event on October 10 while supplies last.
