Cybernance Platform now available, enabling agencies to rapidly assess and manage cyber risk

AUSTIN, Texas--()--Cybernance Corporation, a provider of cyber risk governance technology solutions, today announced availability of its NIST-based SaaS Cybernance Platform on the General Services Administration’s (GSA) IT Schedule 70 through its GSA reselling partner, PointStream, Inc. Government agencies, mandated to assess and report on cyber risk by the Presidential Executive Order on Strengthening the Cybersecurity of Federal Networks and Critical Infrastructure (EO), can now easily and speedily purchase the Cybernance Platform to cost effectively become compliant within 30 days of implementation.

Government agencies have traditionally relied upon expensive and manual assessment and reporting techniques. Coupled with no planned budget or bandwidth to accommodate the EO’s mandates, meeting the requirements within the compulsory timeline has proven challenging for many agencies. The Cybernance Platform’s automated and cost effective solution supports ongoing cyber risk assessments across an organization to identify the most critical risks for mitigation, allowing agency leadership to conduct the EO-required evaluations on their organization’s unique cyber risk within 30 days. Trained cyber risk management professionals, on-hand to help agencies effectively identify and manage cyber risk, support Cybernance Platform customers with robust implementation and usage guidance.

We began our goal to be listed on the GSA IT Schedule 70 days after the cybersecurity executive order was published on May 11, 2017,” said Mike Shultz, CEO of Cybernance. “A critical part of that order mandates all agencies must use the NIST CSF to evaluate their cybersecurity risk and resilience. It was immediately clear that, because we developed our platform on NIST specifically to accomplish that, the SaaS Cybernance Platform could help agencies achieve the required comprehensive picture of their cyber risk quickly and cost effectively. Now, agencies will have the power to tackle cyber risk mitigation head-on in support of the national cyber strength our federal government has begun to ardently pursue.”

The product can be found on IT Schedule 70’s Cloud SIN, on contract GS-35F-394GA. Contact info@cybernance.com for more information.
