PALO ALTO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--International law firm Dorsey & Whitney LLP announced today that Jeremy T. Elman has joined the Firm’s Intellectual Property Litigation Group in Palo Alto as a Partner.
Mr. Elman’s practice is primarily focused on patent litigation, but he also has extensive experience with trademark, copyright and trade secret cases. Over his 15-year career, he has represented many of the world’s largest technology companies and consumer brands, as well as technology start-ups, with respect to complex IP issues in both litigation and counseling.
Before joining Dorsey, Mr. Elman was a partner at DLA Piper in its Miami and Silicon Valley offices.
Mr. Elman has a B.A. degree from the University of Michigan and a J.D. degree from the American University, Washington College of Law, where he was Editor, Federal Circuit edition, on the American University Law Review. He was named the “Most Effective Lawyer” in Intellectual Property (2015) by the Daily Business Review, among many other recognitions. He is a member of both the California and Florida bars and has been active in pro bono and other community service.
