NORWOOD, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Vincent Roche, President and CEO of Analog Devices, Inc. (ADI), will present the keynote at a full-day symposium to mark the launch of SENSE.nano, the first Center of Excellence powered by MIT.nano, focusing on nano-enabled sensors and sensing systems. The symposium will bring together sensing experts and visionaries for an exchange of ideas on the societal impact of ubiquitous, unobtrusive sensing — to provide previously unimaginable insight into the condition of the built and natural world — and to positively impact man, machine, and environment.
SENSE.nano is designed to convene business and research communities to collaborate and coordinate the world’s most cutting edge developments in nano-sensors and nano-technology enabled sensing-systems that will impact everything from healthcare to agriculture and autonomous driving to entertainment.
“Nano-scale sensing has the power to provide an unprecedented depth and breadth of insights into the built and natural world, greatly enhancing our understanding of reality,” said Roche. “We are proud and excited to be a founding partner of MIT.nano, and look forward to collaborating closely with the center’s brilliant minds to find solutions to challenges that can positively impact society.”
ADI is a founding partner of MIT.nano – the home to SENSE.nano and a 214,000 square foot research facility dedicated to the study of nanoscience and nanotechnology. The Cambridge, Mass. facility will be the first-of-its-kind in scale and initiative at MIT.
Founded in 1965 by MIT graduates, ADI is an industry leader in sensing technology and a long-time partner for MIT’s advancement in the fields of sensing and conversion research.
